Abigail Olson is a Co-Founder, Partner and the Chief Financial Officer of Hammond.
Abby began her career in 2008 at Christie’s, New York as an intern and rose to the position of Assistant Vice President, Business Manager. As Business Manager, she worked with several Fine and Decorative Art departments: managing auction sales, e-commerce sales, and private sales in excess of $200M in yearly gross sales; preparing financial statements for budgeting and forecasting; and implementing new sale strategies in these departments.
In October 2014, Abby joined Sotheby’s as Business Manager where she expanded her role to include expertise in additional specialist departments, such as Old Master Paintings and American Paintings. At Sotheby’s, Abby managed yearly gross sales in excess of $300M and building upon her financial experience, she broadened her role to include introducing and managing sophisticated financial deals for both sellers and buyers.
Abby is a graduate of Washington & Lee University.
